Disturbances

If your neighbour’s activities disturb you, the best solution is to speak openly to them. Often, the neighbour has not even realised that they are disturbing you. If talking seems difficult or does not help, you can contact the property manager.

The tenant must follow the lessor’s house rules and good rental practices. They must also ensure that they do not violate the laws and regulations laid down to preserve health and order.

The most common reason for disagreement between neighbours is disturbing sounds, such as playing loud music or repeated loud arguments.

The house rules stipulate that there is silence from 22:00 to 7:00. However, this does not mean that no sounds should be heard at night. Normal sounds of living are allowed, as long as you do not make too much noise.
