Guideline for Resident Activities
The formal aspect of resident activities is defined by the act on joint management of state-subsidised rental buildings (1169/2022) and Espoon Asunnot’s Guideline for Resident Activities, which supplements the act and describes its application.
Resident Activities are an important part of the cooperation between Espoon Asunnot and its residents. The purpose of participatory activities is to give residents the chance to influence matters that concern their housing. The activities also aim to make housing more comfortable and community-oriented and support good relations among neighbours.
The Guideline for Resident Activities describes how Espoon Asunnot applies in practice the provisions of the law regarding residents’ meetings, residents’ committees, the cooperation council, resident members of the board and the monitoring of finances and administration.
