Parking spaces

Espoon Asunnot has different types of parking spaces, which may be located outdoors, in a carport, in a parking garage, or as private garages. You can rent a parking space in your building’s parking area if spaces are available. On this page, you’ll find information about parking space prices, renting a parking space, ending your agreement, and guest parking.

Use of parking spaces

Only residents and commercial tenants of Espoon Asunnot who have a valid booking for a parking space are allowed to use the parking spaces.

In your designated parking space:

  • You may park a registered, insured vehicle that is in regular traffic use. The space is intended for a passenger car, motorcycle, or a similar vehicle.
  • You may not park or store a boat, trailer, camper, caravan, utility trailer, or lorry.

Do not park on access roads or emergency lanes. A vehicle parked incorrectly may block maintenance work or emergency services, such as firefighting.

Parking space prises for residents and commercial tenants

  • Outdoor parking space without a heating post: €15/month
  • Moped parking space: €15/month
  • Outdoor parking space with a heating post: €20/month
  • Parking space in a parking garage: €30–65/month
  • Parking space in a private garage: €100/month

Renting a parking space

A parking space can be rented by a person whose name is on the apartment rental agreement.

How to rent parking space:

  1. Log in to EAsy and go to Bookings at the front page.
  2. Click Add new booking.
  3. Select Autopaikka (parking space) as the service.
  4. Choose a parking space from the list and make a booking.
    If direct booking is not available, send a booking request. You can follow the progress of your request in the Open requests and reservations in queue section of the Bookings page.
  5. Once your booking is complete, you can see the parking space details and booking terms on the Bookings page.

You may start parking only after you receive a confirmation email about your parking space.

If you are a new resident and your rental agreement has not yet started, please submit a parking space request using the online form. Do the same if you have been instructed to submit your need for a parking space via the online form.

Customer service will process your request and send a confirmation email.

If no parking spaces are available, you will be added to the queue and notified when space becomes available.

You can view your parking space booking and terms in EAsy once your rental agreement is active.

Keys and parking permit

If using the parking space requires a key or a parking permit, you will receive pick-up instructions in the booking confirmation.

Charging points for electric and hybrid cars

Charging electric or hybrid cars using a regular heating post is not allowed.

If you need a charging point for your electric or hybrid car, please fill in the charging request form. Before submitting a request, you must have a rented parking space equipped with a heating post. A charging point cannot be installed in a space without one.

Many of our properties already have charging points installed. If there are available spaces, we can assign one to you. We do not order new charging points until all existing ones are in use.

The charging point has a power output of 1.8 kW, which typically allows for approximately 100 km of range with overnight charging.

In addition to the monthly rent for the parking space, a separate fee is charged for using the charging point. Pricing details are available in the charging request form.

Canceling a parking space

You can cancel your parking space in EAsy:

  1. Log in to EAsy and go to Bookings at the front page.
  2. Select Bookings.
  3. Cancel your parking space booking.
  4. You will receive confirmation of the cancellation by email.

Notice period and billing

  • The notice period for a parking space is one calendar month.
  • You will continue to be billed until the end of the notice period. You will receive an updated rent invoice once the cancellation is processed.

Returning keys and parking permit

Return any parking permit, heating post key, and/or parking garage key by the last day of your booking. You will receive detailed return instructions in the cancellation confirmation.

Visitor parking and parking control

Visitor parking

Visitor parking is intended exclusively for residents' guests.

You may park in designated visitor spots for a maximum of 4 hours, and a parking disc must be used.

Visitor parking in properties monitored by ParkPlan

In some properties, parking is monitored by ParkPlan. In these locations, visitor parking requires a digital permit. The resident grants permission to the guest by registering the car in the ParkPlan system for the duration of the stay.

You should have received a username and password along with the resident information sheet provided for your apartment. If you have lost your login credentials, please contact customer service, asiakaspalvelu@espoonasunnot.fi.

The visitor permit applies only to visitor parking spaces and is valid for up to four hours at a time. Once the permit is registered, the system will display the time when the parking ends. The car’s license plate number must be entered correctly, as parking supervision is based on it.

In ParkPlan-monitored properties, visitor parking is allowed without a time limit between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.

If the property has no visitor parking spaces

If your property does not have designated visitor parking, guests must park along the street or in another public parking area nearby.

Parking control

Parking control is in effect in the parking areas, courtyards, and emergency access roads of our properties. Depending on the location, parking is monitored by either Aimo Park or ParkPlan. Monitoring also applies to parking spaces that have not been rented.

Parking rules are indicated on signs and traffic markings in the area. If you park in violation of these rules, you may receive a parking fine. Repeated violations or parking against the terms of your rental agreement may result in the termination of your parking space lease.

If you notice a vehicle parked incorrectly in the area, you can submit a monitoring request to either Aimo Park or ParkPlan.

Winter maintenance and use of heating posts

Keep your parking space clear of snow and ice

If your parking space is outdoors, you are responsible for clearing snow and sanding the space yourself to ensure safe parking.

Remember to clear snow between vehicles as well. If left to compact, snow can turn into ice and become slippery.

Sand is available on the property for residents to use. If it runs out, please contact the maintenance company. You can find the contact details in EAsy.

Use the heating post safely

  • Always unplug the heating cable after use. If left plugged in, the cable can get wet and cause an electric shock. It may also get buried in snow and damaged by snowploughing.
  • Keep the cover of the post locked at all times. This prevents small children from accessing the sockets.
  • Make sure the heating cable is intact. Do not use it if it’s damaged.
  • Do not use extension cords for car heating.
  • If you notice a fault in the heating post, report it to the maintenance company.
  • Heat your car efficiently: 30 minutes is enough in cool weather, and a maximum of 2 hours in very cold weather. Use the post’s timer if available.
  • Charging electric or hybrid vehicles using a regular heating post is strictly prohibited. It may cause a serious short circuit and endanger the property’s entire electrical system.
