Candidate nomination of resident board members at residents’ meetings in October-November
Two of the members of the Board of Directors of Espoon Asunnot are elected every four years from candidates nominated by the tenants. The process to select the next resident members will begin in the residents’ meetings held in the fall.
Residents’ meetings will be held on the properties in October-November. All residents of the property are welcome to attend. In addition to other topics discussed at the meetings, this fall the residents will nominate candidates for the preliminary election for resident members of the board. Preliminary election will take place in early 2025. Each residents' meeting can put forward only one candidate for the resident board member position.
The resident committees will inform the company of their candidate in December, after which the names of the candidates will be published on the website. After this, the chairpersons of the resident committees and/or representatives of the property’s residents will vote in the preliminary election to select six candidates. From these six, the city will choose two resident members for the board in the spring of 2025. The official appointment of the board members will take place at Espoon Asunnot general meeting.
The preliminary election for resident board members does not apply to our non-subsidised properties.
