Impacts of Industrial Actions on Properties
The effects of industrial actions planned for the beginning of February may also be visible on the properties of Espoo Asunnot. The most significant impact of the strikes is on waste collection.
Due to the strikes, some of our properties may experience deficiencies or delays in property maintenance and cleaning on Thursday, February 1, and Friday, February 2. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Effects of the Strike on Waste Collection
Helsinki Region Environmental Services HSY is rearranging waste collection due to the strike. Residents should be prepared for the possibility that the waste container emptying day may not be the same as usual. This applies to all types of waste collected at the properties.
If the property's waste containers are full, HSY recommends that residents store their waste at home, on the balcony, or in storage until collection, if possible.
Even if the property's waste containers become full during or immediately after the strike, contacting HSY's customer service will not expedite the emptying. HSY is aware of the properties whose waste containers have not been emptied.
