The late payment interest invoices will be sent on 30th October

Since August, we have returned to our standard late payment interest policy, invoicing late payment interest quarterly. At the end of October, we will issue invoices for interest accumulated from 1 July to 30 September 2024.

The rent due date is always the 4th of each month, or the following business day if the 4th falls on a holiday or weekend. If rent payments are delayed, interest will accrue until the rent is paid in full.

The late payment interest is based on the Interest Act, and the Bank of Finland sets the interest rate twice a year. For the period from July 1 to December 31, 2024, the interest rate is 11.5%.

Schedule for late payment interest invoicing

The minimum sum of a late-payment interest invoice is five (5) euros. If you have accrued less than five (5) euros of late-payment interest, you will not be sent an invoice until you reach the five euro limit.

Late payment interest invoices for 2024:

  • 30 October, 2024, for the period 1 July 1 – 30 September
  • January 2025, for the period 1 October  – 31 December

The first late payment interest invoice of 2025 will be sent in April (for the period January 1 – March 31).
