The selection of resident members of the board is progressing – six candidates continue in the selection process
In the preliminary election on February 10, the chairpersons of the residents' committees and the residents' representatives chose six candidates. From these six, the city of Espoo will choose two resident members for the board in the spring of 2025.
The cooperation body confirmed the results of the preliminary election on February 11, 2025. The six candidates with the most votes (in alphabetical order) are:

Saarelma Mia
Saarnio Pirkko
Turkia Esa
Viikki Timo
Resident members of the Board of Directors of Espoon Asunnot are elected every four years. The selection of the resident members of the board began in the residents’ meetings held in the fall 2024. In the meetings the residents nominated candidates for the preliminary election. Now, the six candidates with the highest number of votes move on to the next stage, where the city of Espoo will choose two of them as board members. The official appointment of the board members will take place at the general meeting of Espoon Asunnot.
